If you have problems concerning the creation of your JIS card, you can look for a solution HERE.

Electronic confirmation of study for the Pilsen Public Transportation Office

Students of the University of West Bohemia can use the Pilsen public transport for reduced fees. In order to do so, the student has to “pair” his/her Pilsen and JIS card. By doing so, the Pilsen Card is registered in the UWB information system and the Pilsen Public Transportation office automatically receives the information that the holder of the Pilsen Card is a student.

Change of your personal data

If the personal data of a JIS card holder change, he/she must do the following: - report the change at the relevant Office of Academic Studies, - pay a handling fee to the UWB bank account, - submit an application for the issuance of a new JIS card.

Changed personal details include:

  • change of name, surname,
  • or degree.
